We have divided the implementation into 9 steps to follow:

Step 1: Eyes and Cheeks

Start by drawing a small oval to represent the nose . On each side of the nose, draw a curved line that ends in a spiral. This forms the top of Garfield's mouth and his cheeks .

Then, make an oval starting from the middle of the nose and arriving towards the right cheek to represent the first eye. For the second eye, start from the left cheek and create a curved line arriving at the right eye.

Finally, draw a line on each eye, at the top of the cheeks, to form the eyelids . You can then make two small circles to represent the pupils .

Step 2: The Mouth and Head

Make the mouth using two curves, each going from the nose to the cheeks and create small "U" shaped lines at the corners of the mouth to form the dimples .

Make small dots in the cheekbones to represent the base of the mustaches .

Next, outline the sides of the face using long, curved lines.

Step 3: Ears and Belly

To make the ears : use overlapping curved lines to form rounded triangular shapes. Next, detail the ears by drawing a curved line on each of them.

Make three lines at the thin base and the wider tip, at the base of each ear, to indicate Garfield's tufts of hair.

Symbolizes the chin with a small curved line.

And draw its round body using 3 curves.

Step 4: The right arm and hand

Now let's tackle his right arm and hand.

Start by tracing the arm with “L”-shaped lines, then create the palm of the hand , and finally the fingers, starting with the thumb.

Step 5: The left arm and hand

Draw the outline of the palm of the right hand with two curved lines.

Next, use a series of overlapping lines to begin drawing the rest of the arm.

Step 6: The left foot

Complete the left hand by using two curved lines to draw the third finger and the side of the hand.

Next, draw two straight, parallel lines from the opening of the lower torso. This is Garfield's leg .

Use overlapping curved lines to draw the top and bottom of the foot .

Step 7: The right foot

Complete the left foot using two overlapping curved lines to form the remaining toes.

We can now do the right leg and foot!

Use a straight line for the front of the leg and overlapping lines for the top of the foot and first two toes.

Step 8: The Tail

Complete the right foot with a "C" shaped line for the last toe and a curved line for the bottom of the foot.

You can now queue using a long curved line that doubles up on itself.

Step 9: The Black Stripes

Here the route is finished! Now all you have to do is make our favorite cat's black stripes .

You can start by doing the ones at the top of each ear, then those on the head and back and finally finish with those on the tail.
